The collection at Museum Hof van Busleyden owes much to the generosity its donors. We are grateful for their trust and treat every work of art entrusted to us, whether by donation or bequest, with the greatest care.
Our policy is to focus on art and heritage that has a clear connection with:
● Mechelen as the court and capital of the Burgundian Low Countries
● Mechelen as an important religious centre in later centuries
For that reason, we are unfortunately unable to accept every offer. Each proposal is assessed individually with the advice of an independent panel of experts.
Would you like to donate an artwork?
We would be delighted to hear more about it. Complete the form below and we'll contact you as soon as possible.
