This museum is especially recommended for children aged 6 and over and their parents and grandparents.

“Armed with this booklet, our youngest son searched every gallery for the Golden Cubes, each of which had a new activity waiting for him. "He was happy, and so were we.”

Tips for a Family-Friendly Museum Visit

Wow, a Real Palace!

Before you step inside, take a good look at the museum building.
Can you see the long balcony? It looks just like a catwalk for a fashion show! And who might have lived in the little room at the top of the tower?

Let Your Imagination Run Free

Running, eating and touching works of art are not allowed inside the museum. But what about looking closely, imagining, copying poses and drawing? Those are all warmly encouraged!
You can use one of our activity booklets, available at reception.

Run Around and Picnic in the Museum Garden
