By car
It's best to plan your route in advance, as Mechelen operates a traffic circulation plan.
Paid parking applies throughout the surrounding area. The closest underground car parks are Parking Indigo Mechelen Veemarkt (5 minutes on foot) and Parking Indigo Mechelen Tinel (4 minutes on foot).
Please note! Many streets in Mechelen are traffic-restricted during certain hours. This includes Sint Janstraat, where the museum is located: vehicles are not permitted between 11 am and 6 pm. Entering the street during those hours will result in a fine.

Travelling as a group by coach ? Please note that the museum is located in a traffic-restricted zone, that coaches cannot enter between 11 am and 6 pm.
The recommended drop-off and pick-up point is Veemarkt, a short walk from the museum.
